The BIG headlines in the local paper "M6 missery as pile up happens under new digital sign displaying 'Drive wirh Extra Care Fire Fighter Strike!'. Well that says it all. At the speeds you can do on the M6 in the morning how people crash is beyond me. Anyway that buggered getting to work by 9am today.
Thankgod Rog has called swimming off tonight. I dont think I could have done 30 lengths.
Having looked at the subcrawl page it has been updated slightly. They planning a new date for a crawl! Yipppeee perhaps, although they are keeping it close daggers about when it is. You have to email them. Guess its invite only. Plenty of snow up Scotland way as I called Deb to check. What a bummer we could have gone real snow skiing if we'd gone up this weekend but thats the luck of nack.
Clara has been a right bugger to get working and staying on tonight but have at last got the scotland photos up!
My old bank has coughed up at last so there some cash to go towards the new sofa! (thats if the cash has gone into my new bank, havn't had time to check yet).
Suppose its time to go to bed!

I have snook a cheeky reply to Big-L on the circle line pub crawl web page eh eh
Well, the Inxs DVD did not seem to be coming so I changed the order to MVC as they had listed it again. A day later a message came that they couldn't get it and it would be removed. Looks like I need to give up on it! Booooh. Away I've done some work on the latest weekend away and hopefully should get it finished after swimming tomorrow! If I can keep my eyes open. Hair needs cutting soo badly. It will be great to get a bit of a chopp at the weekend.
On the Beardy front neither Big-L or Greenie have heard from Beardy, so it looks like we'll be going to a funeral soon. If we get told about it that is. Andy has been on the web earlier. Aparently he's not in Iraq yet but was on the web looking for 'items' that will make his stay in the dessert more comfortable. Like a minidiscman! Probably to drown out the nose of all the gun fire. He's finally got the beer mat I peeled the top layer off and wrote to him. Slapping on a stamp of course! Thinking of stamps I have paid Greg fully up front for our Cornwall holiday in mid May. Lookin forward to it. I wonder if there are any theme parks nearby. I'm asking Big-L if he'd be interested in doin the 4 furthest points in Britian on the weekend we come back. Afterall we are starting next to one of them! He said yes and he's mentioned a theme park small but there is one!!!!! Flamebards. Having quickly looked I'm not impressed. My reaction is I'm not 9 years old. Ok maybe mentaly!

Agghhh after downloading all the photos from my camera yesterday they all seem to have vanished! Luckly, or not depending how you see the snap shots! I had them still saved on the camera so I've downloaded them again. Its just too late to go through each one adjusting them tonight. Another early night I feel coming on and a read of the book i 'was' reading. Swimming is prosponed till Thursday thankgod.

All I can say having returned from work is that I seem to have a prolonged hang over. And, for some reason my left leg shin hurts when I walk on it. It hurts too much to think to write just now.

A quick write while I wait for Jim to collect me to go to Edingburgh way. Notable points of the day are I've actually had 4 visitors at www. midlands metro pub crawl.co.uk ! Yes 4. And, get this one of them has signed the guest book. What a dude. Hopefully it will take off just as well as www. the circle line pub crawl co.uk. Talking of which I had a reply from Zoe.

Well, I'm Welsh, I've got a Scottish mate who I'm trainning up to be "Welsh-Standard drinking", few Europeans and maybe the odd Londoner. So, if we come along....flags included will you be able to take us around!?!? There's a few blonde's among us!!! Lol!!! I want to get everyone off their arses and drink like Welsh people!!!

Ciao Chick.x.

Well hopefully well meet them. That should make twenty of us if we all turn up so far, which I feel is more than enough people. Don't want to many there. as I've already said, it will be too difficult to get served, get on the trains during rush hour, or perhaps it will be a novelty. I can see Big-L getting all moody and marching off again and me well I'll just be throwing up in a corner!

I did pack last night and my bag is full. absolutely to the brim. Will it fit in Jims car with everyone elegiac stuff? I doubt it!

Thursday, January 23, 2003

Wednesday night got off my arse and went swimming. Amazingly enough I did 30 lengths within 30 minutes! In fact I did a few more just in case I had miss counted. Will I be able to keep this up every week I doubt it? Rog certainly can't! I'm in fact sitting here when I should have packed for Scotland tomorrow. Not sure what is going on really. I suppose I'll shove my jacket and gloves in just in case we do go down hill on two planks. Hopefully my cloths are out the drier.
Big-L and myself have had another email from a Welsh Las whom wants to join us on the circle line pub crawl.

Hello, like the look of the site and am getting together a few of my fellow students to do the challenge. Being complete circel line virgins we would love to do it with you...the experienced ones!
Thought you might want to know that St David's Day (Patron Saint of Wales) is on the Saturday 1st March so maybe a Welsh theme to your next pub crawl?!!? A few of us are Welsh so we'll be pretty good drinkers anyway!!:)
Anyways, let us know if we can join you.

Cheers,
Zoe D.x.

My reply (as I have no secrets here!)

Zoë

If you think you can keep up rather than throw up then of course you'd be welcome.
Shame the Glaswegians don't seem to be coming from the www.subcrawl.co.uk. We could have got the flags out!

Nice to see someone as good as typing as myself.

Nack

How exciting. If only they'd but some merchandise. Its there to be bought!

No Inxs DVD yet although MVC are now reselling it. I may well cancel my order and get it from there instead. I'll give them to this time next week.

My work college Steve has borrowed Basic Instinct. He seemed pretty desperate to borrow it. Probably something to do with all the sex thats in it!

I'll end with a joke that Gaz sent us, which I loved:

A scousr walked into the local job centre, marched straight up to the counter and said "Hi, I'm looking for a job". The man behind the counter replied "Your timing is amazing. We've just got a listing from a very wealthy man who wants a chauffeur/bodyguard for his nymphomaniac twin daughters. You'll have to drive around in a big black Mercedes, uniform provided. Because of the long hours of this job meals will also be provided and you will also be required to escort the young ladies on their overseas holidays. The salary package is 200,000 a year". Scouser said "You're bullshitting me!" The man behind the counter said "Well, you started it."

On Monday night Deadmanjones sent me an email saying:

"And the Small Pox programme was fiction you fool."

He is right to! No wonder I condn't remember it happening. I thought I'd completly lost it there for a mo. Check it out here: Smallpox
The circline line pub crawl t-shirts have arrived. And the new design is great and works well! Big-L I'm sure will love em too. It's no wonder theres been a sale or two afterall.
Last night stayed in and watched the brillant Se7en on DVD. A classic film. Why did I not include it in my favourite list. Just too many to choose from I guess. I ought to write the review for Billys log as well. I think perhaps I liked it so much I can't bear to write the review to say I've finished it. Apart from the T-shirts web user came. Of which I read it in er 20mins. There a cloumn about the KLF which I can't wait to long onto. Anyone fancy a trip around the M25 for 25 hours on the 25th June? Thought not.
Deb's emailed to say we are going to a Kalee on Friday night, thats if we get there before Saturday morning. And a Kalee is in fact a barn dance. Its been a while since I've been to one of these. In fact I've never been to one of these. And here there's not much chance of it as most barnes have been converted into luxary homes.

Can't say much else has happened. I can however tell you what hasn't happened:

1). No word from Beardy yet.
2). No Inxs DVD delivered yet.
3). Gregs cheque still hasn't passed into his palm for the holiday yet.

Saturday got up and thought eer lets not go and get my hair cut. Why I'm not sure as now, Sunday, it definitely needs cutting. The fact I'll be in Scotland next weekend means I won't get it done for 2 weeks probably. I find nothing more irritating than my hair getting too long.
Two more DVD's come, The Italian Job and This Life. So that set the flavour for the day. 5 hours of This Life was watched! And still more to watch! Can't say I'll be watching it over and over but I do enjoy the series. A classic series it is by fair. Even considered going on my bike at one point. But putting my nose outside I released just how cold it was!
Arranged to meet at the anchor for a couple of drinks with Big-L, Sara and Gaz. Also called and texted Beardy but still no news back of weather he is alive or not. Big-L is probably right, just when he skant us on the pub crawl once and we didn't see or hear form him for two whole weeks! Got to the Anchor at 7:30pm. 1 ½ hours after I told Beardy to be there mind, and I was the first to turn up. Got myself a pint and managed to grab a table good enough for six. Luckily I had brought a long a post card to write to Andy, just in case. I was the first there. It came in handy to leave on the table along with my coat when I had actually finished my first pint! It's miles better in there than the Rainbow. Worth the walk in-fact. A lovely pint of Bass or five!

Can recall watching a program about small pox. A small pox epidemic that happened in April / May 2002. Where was I when this was happening? Well I was certainly around. I must have been in my own world I suppose. It was educational about how fast and horrible it spread though.

Got up and went shopping. Well took my mom and on the way also called into my brothers and took him as well. After filling the shopping trolley, and that just reminds me theres some unflavored ice cream downstairs in the freezer now, yummmmmmyyy, I took my mom to show her the sofa I'd had set my heat on just before Christmas. On discussing that they could deliver in 10 weeks I thought sod it we'd better order it or I'm never going to bother. So there you go. In ten weeks I will have a lovely new sofa and be early a grand less well off! I can tell you when it comes my arse is not going to be moving for at least a month. I will be a coach potato for real. Now what am I going to do with my old one. I even managed to go out on my bike this afternoon. Not far mind just round the extremeties of the village. Then I washed my car. God its looks good when the craps cleaned off it!. So now I'm sitting here watching This Life again. Only another three episodes to go! Oh yeah also finished changes to my web site. All done now and it seems to work fine. Zoe has emailed a picture of herself with a new haircut. Is she trying to get abuse thrown at herself! Mad Mad Mad. Well I suppose at least she bothered unlike some! nearly 9pm now so I'm going to find some of that ice cream and get fat-er.
P.S. Deadmanjones this blogger-processor is great. No spelling errors hey.

Arranged to catch the 6:20 bus which is in fact always early. Left work ASAP and pegged it home arriving 6:02pm! Yikes. I was in and out with a quick change and ran to the bus stop. Then waited for the bus that is always early to turn up late! Started Friday night off at McDonalds with a BigMac and a Quarter pounder with cheese! Scumpchuise!
We moved to Heroes. Somewhere we hardly ever go to. It does half need to be done out there. The place isn't half getting tatty. There we waited for Greenie to turn up and while we drank a beer I wrote a post card to Andy. The plan was to go to some pubs down the metro line from Wolvo to Bilston. We were going to check out what the pubs where like that we had gone to last when we did the metro line pub crawl back in June. As it happens they were as bad as I remember. The first pub was the Harp at the Royal. Well we say at the Royal but there was a slight walk into the 'red lite' area. A part of town I wouldn't wish to walk alone really. When we got there it was happy hour till 8pm. Yippe. Down side there was only to beers on I think. Stones bitter and Worthies. Yep this place was as stylish as I remember. Here Beardy called and advised he was on his way! Should we wait here after all and give him directions. Heck I wouldn't venture down here myself. We decided he'd either never find his way here or wouldn't make it alive!
We headed back to the metro and called him to tell him we would be at The Gate at Preistfield. This pub was how I remembered it as well! Was I pissed on my birthday? Big-L said he couldn't remember it. It's an Asian pub. Full of Asians and Asian decor. Nice touch was the semi circular bar. Here they had Eastenders on, something which I never see normally on a Friday. Why why why did the Beeb put it on a Friday night? Everyone apart from Big-l and Greenie watched avidly. After Eastenders the TV was switch over to Top of the Bangra.
We decided to leave Beardy or no Beardy and assumed he would be idly waiting at the station. We tried him on his mobile a couple of times but he did not answer. We left a few messages telling him we were moving onto the Crescent and The Hawk. Now this is one pub we didn't go to before. And what you see on the outside does not give you an idea of what it’s like on in the inside! There seems to be a lot of kids here. Most of whom I think are residents. In fact it’s like sitting in your own living room.
We move on to The Spread Eagle thinking where the hell is Beardy? Still no reply on the phone. We order some beers and site by the window where there is a light flashing. From outside it says balti restaurant now open. Big-L didn’t seem to notice this. In fact he didn’t seem to notice the pungent whiff of curry in the Smokey air. Now considering Big-L won’t go in a balti because of the smell he didn’t notice until Greenie ask what the back room was? Which is when I told them. Can neither of them hold their beer any more! We finish up and move to another. The White Rose I think.
Now this place is Camera noted. Why? Something to do with the enormous selection of drinks and beer available I guess. Big-L and Greenie play Bar Billiards while I taste Big-L’s sister, Sarah Hughes! Which went down well.
We left in search of food. Big-L telling us he knows a great chippie. So great in fact it’s closed! We head back to one we’ve just passed and have a bag of golden chips each. When I say golden I mean orange tint golden! We call Beardy again telling him he’s a complete wanker if he’s gone home without him letting us know. How the hell are we meant to know if he’s been mugged run over or just male raped! Well if that how he wants to play it let it be…..
Ah we went home on the last bus!
Unfortuatly Dougie Brimson has only written about footie apart from Billy’s Log, Why? Be it fictional or non fictional. On the positive side all his other books are about footie holagonisism.

Tuesday went swimming. I new this was going to hurt, since not going sometime before Christmas. Wednesday morning confirmed my muscles had weakened and are now screaming!

Got home Wednesday night to find Basic instinct had arrived. So I stayed in and watched it! I’d forgotten how good a story and therefore film it was. Thank god it’s now in my film collection. Who was the murderer? I never did get it.

Started my new book after finishing Billy’s Log. I suppose the ending was inevitable and probably written before the end of the book. You’d understand if you read it. I’m still going to miss his life. Perhaps Dougie Brimson has done some other works! I’ve now started reading ‘The Lawn Mower Celebrity’ another Ben Hatch book, his first novel I believe. It has a lot to live up to after International Gooseberry.

I’ve got home tonight to find 2 things:

My dad has replaced the front door! But I have no key! I had to call him to ask how the hell he expected me to actually get in! He came and brought me a key. Amazing!

Seven has come. Thinking about it I already have this on video. And after checking so I do. I wonder if I could take all my VHS tapes to Cash Converters or something and change them with DVD’s while they’re still cheap. Still no Inxs DVD. Perhaps I should order it from Amazon as well to see who can supply it first. They probably both use the same supplier and would result in at least showing 2 copies wanted! It might speed things up. Anyway staying online for a bit to see if Big-L will be around. Perhaps we can arrange going up town tomorrow night for a beer or eight!

Tuesday, January 14, 2003

Not much has happened really. Reading of Billy’s log is going exceptionally well. In fact there are only ten pages left which is a shame really as I’ve enjoyed reading about his fictional life.

Yesterday (Monday) on the way to work some dosy clot nearly ran into me. Luckily I reacted quick and although I locked up 3 times to miss them I did manage to avoid the twerp! How I’m not sure. I just hope when they change lanes in future they look properly. Normally I’d have said bloody women drivers but this person looked like a block. Not that I got much view of them. So it was probably just some ugly bird. I controlled myself and didn’t blow my horn or swear or make any jesters. I think it was because I could not believe I’d managed to avoid the inevitable collision. The screech tyres however give the onlooker at the bus stop something to gorp at though.

Last night I accidentally caught the double bill of Coronation Street where Richard finally tries to knock off Emily. Not that I’m a fan of Cory at all but I was lucky just to spring on this episode. Thoughtfully ITV had a 30min break between the two episodes to allow the viewers to switch to Eastenders and then return back to the second part of Cory.

Graham Norton’s show is still on. How wonderful. I still preferred it though when he had only one long show per a week.

On Saturday I’m taking Sarah to Birmingham airport. The emails are as follows:

Nacks email - So you want to go to Brum airport. It’s well signposted but if you want to go lets go and check it out next Saturday.

Sarah’s Reply - I know it's signposted and you know it's signposted, but my brain does not seem to understand the signposts are telling it the truth.

After that hopefully heading to a pub with Rog early doors. Perhaps she’ll drop me off in town?

Apparently we have another ‘old’ work college coming to Scotland. Her name Sarah but not the one above or the one Gaz lives with or Neil is seeing. Why can’t every girl be called Sarah. Even our receptionist is named Sarah. Life would be so much easier then believe me.
Apart from the reply Deadmanjones has managed to sneak in about the blogg template he also sent the following emails!

13/01/03 22:43 - I'll try and find time, but these things take as long for me as they do for you (and clara is giving me a connection speed 33600 tonight).

13/01/03 23:16 - Nack, you've pasted over your blog template with the output html, what are you doing? Please tell me you copied and pasted the old template into a txt
file or something, because I can't undo what you've done, you've buggered it.

13/01/03 23:50 - Right, I've rewritten your template from scratch and tried to fit it in your new layout (which I much prefer by the way). Don't touch the template again till you learn html.

Cheers Deadmanjones

Why didn't deadmanjones just tell you to upload the file off the server change it with frontpage and then download it? Because that's fucking bollocks that's why. Don't touch the template again.

Sunday, January 12, 2003

We’ll its 8 pm clock and what have I done so far. Well I’ve altered the layout of www.nackuk.com. More to the point its took me nearly 10 hours to do! Perhaps I do use too many interlinked frames after all!
Well I even changed this blogg layout. Why did Deadmanjones just tell me to upload the file off the server change it with frontpage and then download it! Christ! Ahhah.
Well the books part got a complete revamp as well.
I did watch ‘Dances with Wolves’ while doing it though. I guess now I’m going to pick my book up and read. Perhaps a cuppa first. Oh yeah it wasn’t Sexy Beast I’d ordered it was that old classic Basic Instinct. And no they still don’t have the Inxs DVD yet!
I’ve just got up after reading a few pages pages of Billy’s log. In fact I’m finding it had to put it down. Belly is now continuously sore. I expect it is from the very hot Mexican meal as nothing nasty went down the sewer yesterday. This morning however the sewer has been invaded twice and my belly is sssoooo sore.

Giving that I am sitting here scoffing some left overs from last nights get together. An enjoyable night of board games and knocking drinks over. That bit of black pudding was yummy. It was a nice turn out as well. Gregs mom and Dad, Di and Greg, Greenie, Beardy, Rob, Big-L. In fact there was no room left at the inn. Greg and Di came to my living quarters and were impressed by my TV and the fact I have a lot of plants, mostly dying. I obviously don’t take after my uncle Adrian who is now a retired gardener for Chillington Hall. In fact the bigger I buy them the longer they last. Games played was Booze Cruze. Each player or team is given a passport with 5 breweries and you have to get to each on base in a city round the world. At each play to continue you have to answer a question. Lets just say most of the question are somewhat bizarre. For me not being very up with general knowledge helps a great deal as nobody knows the answers to these questions and puts us all on a par. Surprisingly considering how bad my mom and dad where at the game they won! Which moved us onto a super supper spread and quick game of Jenga, followed by pictionary. A drawing based I love nearly as much as the word game Taboo.

My belly could be hurting I guess from all the picked onions I’m eating. We have got some homemade style ones from the butchers which taste ah wonderful.

Things to do today:
Clean car inside and out
Eat another sausage roll
Watch Holly Oaks at 10:30am
Update the books page on my web site.
Do the maps for the metro line web site.
Sit back and read Billy’s log.

I might just check what the other movie was I ordered. I think it may have been Sexy Beast, which by the way isn’t a porno film.

I’m feeling much better now. I have done some shopping therapy. I have ordered the following:

The Italian Job
Seven
And another film which I can’t remember so it will be a surprise.

All at bargain prices below a tenner. Oh big spender.

I have noticed how Deadmanjones changed the tile of my blog to ‘NackUK the Arse End of the Rainbow’. At the moment I’m leaving it as such. He is probably just spoofed that I nick all his ideas. I like the colander on his web site by the way, now where could I fit one of those in??? Do I really need one? Is my life that exciting and fully booked? I suppose it would help with things like my dental appointments. Found at Thursday dinner time I had an appointment at 9:10 on Friday morning. Quickly had to inform my boss I would be late in and he hoped I would be given a double dose of pain. As it is the dentist said there was nothing wrong, apart from my wisdom teeth which for years he has insisted they should be out not in. But to this day I keep them in my mouth and that’s where they’re staying unless I end up in great pain and they HAVE to come out? Now a day later after he poked away with his Sharpe instrument in my mouth I have the bloody tooth ache in one of my rear molars, arrrggghhh I wish I had forgotten to go now!
I awake not surprisingly with a head ache. A few beers and a Mexican meal with some work colleges, and I feel all the better for it! I can recall Jim getting me a taxi. Got to the station, being honest I bought a ticket from the person who was asleep in the ticket office. Only to discover there wasn't a train until 1:04am. So I went to the platform found a steel bench, pulled my nackuk hat down over my eyes and laid back. Now these B.R. railtrack or what ever they call them selves these days certainly know how to make the most uncomfortable furniture but that will not stop me grabbing 30 winks or so. Train came on time ohoh and I was a bit warmer on board. I was directed out of the first class accommodation and into standard class, where seats where in abundance. I looked around there was no one to talk to so I closed my eyes once more and prayed this train was going to terminate at Wolvo.

Luckily it did!

The Suede 'a new morning' album I ordered came on Wednesday. First thoughts were that it was a load of toss. But after forcing myself to listen to it through a fair few times it has definitely grown on me. I'll have to copy it to mini disc and constantly play it to everyone in my motor... Play still have not sent me or have themselves the Inxs DVD I have ordered from them. Are they ever going to be able to obtain a copy. It's the DVD of the 1991 Summer Xess concert they performed at Wembley. What’s more I was actually there! Along with Greenie and a fair few thousand more besides! So I know it was good.

On Wednesday I got home a little earlier so I decided to move all my direct debits having moved to a new bank again. So I called each one up and within a hour I had sorted them all out. Now I had asked the banks to do this for me. After 5 days of requesting the change a received a letter from my new bank say my old bank had not yet responded. This was about the 4th December! So you can see why I gave up with them and did it myself. On Thursday when I arrive home I find to letters waiting for me. One is from my old bank advising they hadn’t heard from my new bank! The second is from my new bank saying it had now got the information with a list of all the direct debits and standing orders and that these had now been implemented! Christ I give my money to these pair to look after. Seeing as I’ve put my fingers in and contacted each company as well I can see that things are not going to go well. Perhaps it would be advisable for me to withdrawal all my cash and put it somewhere safe, like under my mattress!

I have ordered 2 t-shirts of the ‘Third design’ for when Big-L and myself go on the pub crawl. Weather it will be warm enough to display them is another thing! Perhaps I should have bought long sleeved items!
I’ve handed in my holiday request form to have the Friday off so we’ll just have to see what happens! Wonder if these other six people will turn up? I told Big-L I hope that thousands off people don’t just turn up. It would be funny though walking round the corner to see loads of people trying to get in the first people waiting to see us! Perhaps I should give Graham Norton a call to see if he wants to do a quick live interview? During or after the crawl do you think? Is ‘his’ show on channel 4 still? Haven’t seen it for a while. Liked his series, perhaps I just watched too many of them. If I remember rightly he does use the web as much as he first did, calling people up all over the world about there strange web sites!

I seem to have agreed to go on Holiday in Cornwall somewhere during May, with 11 others although I really don’t know anything about it other than that. Hopefully will be a laugh in one way or another. Will it be better than the brilliant Tenby? We as we are renting a huge house at least it will comfy in bed at night.

Got up and went to work. The funny thing is just before I left home I felt ill again!!! ah ah. Perhaps funnier still I knew there was going to be a lot of ice on the car so I got up that little bit earlier to deal with it. As usual with frosty morning everything seemed fine until I had left the drive and then the windscreen reiced up. Peering through the bottom of the windscreen where the heaters were blowing I made my way slowly down the street. A very skillful act which take many years of training to accomplish when everyone down the street releams in parking half on half off the bloody road. One day I will hit them problably all! Besides getting up early to remove the ice. Traffic was bad. very bad. Having had Thursday and Friday off ill I thought people were going to say something like come in when you feel like it and what ever time you feel you can manage to prise yourself out of bed. Another 9:40am appearance. Not the first day back impression I wanted to give for the new year. Perhaps things will just get better, perhaps I will be asked not to come in at all!

Apart from making it through the whole day at work two amazing things have happened today. Well I say amazing but but perhaps only for me.

One - a message has appeared on 'the circle line pub crawl' message board saying there are 6-8 people going to meet Big-L and myself for the crawl on the 21st February. I still acutally need to book this day off work!

Two - I have actually sold a long sleaved tee shirt from 'the circle line pub crawl' web site to someone in IL USA. Ilousiana I guess! wow could this be the begining of something big! And it wasn't the cheapest item avaiable! Eat my NUTS Deadmanjones!

Tonight I have managed to make myself get on with the 'third' issue design of the t-shirt in preparation of our crawl in Feb. oh I'm so excited. Now is there anyway of intising Deadmanjones to come and follow us all around with a camera I wonder??? Can't say there much to do about anything else to tell you so I'll shut up.
By the way Deadmanjones, thanks for altering the appearance of the blog but this is not quite what I had in mind! Can we talk at some point about slight mods to it????

I thas just occured to me. I have not recieved a xmas card from a curry house this year. I must have kept last years resolution of curry cutting down then!
Well 2003 is here. A bit of a downer to begin with as I've not been well through the New Year till now. Saying that my stomach hursts again but I think its jsut due to the fact its empty rather than illness now. So back to work tommorrow morning I guess. The time of had doing nothing other than lying on the sofa or my bed has given me time to read my book. The International Gooseberry by Ben Hatch. In fact its so good I went out and bought his first book the Lawn Mower Celebrity, whatever thats about.
Looking on the bright side of life, Big L and myself will be doing the Cirlce Line Pub Crawl on the 21st Feb, so something to look forward to. Also will be heading up towards Edingburgh for 'Burns' night what ever happens with that with Debbie, Zoe and Jim.
Thinking back on work there is some booze in my draws that I had on the last day which I did not bring home!
Anyway London, I've been there so many times recently that I've bought the Rough Guide to London so that I actually know 'what' to actually do there othere than clubbing or drinking. Okay so the book does tell you about all the clubbs and bars to go to as well. And I've bought the Lonely Plant book to the USA. Why? Well watch this space and you may well just find out!
The only resolution I'm going to tell you about atv this point is to actually write on this blog more often. I've even put a link on my web page to it that 'easy to find' rather than the original hidden one. How exciting is that for you (the one and only reader you are, if I'm lucky!). Later tonight I will be hopefully filling my belly and finishing off that book. I'm also going to email Deadmanjones to see if he can advise how I change the look of this free blog to match my web page. (sad but true).
Why is there no spell checker on here is it too much to ask for!?!
