So Friday night we had a get togeather for Matt's 30th Birthday... I had to nip into the Tesco Metro to get some batteries for the camera after a few pints in the Trocadeara.

The choice of our wether our company or a ciggy was best is quite cleary shown here.

Matts taking it all in his stride.

Nozza got his money on Matt chucking before the night is over.

But Matt thinks Nozza needs lessons in gambling.

There is some sort of objection regarding this..

Is it squshy like a balloon?

Nozza organises a drinking competition. This should screw Matt up.

Its great to see Deadmanjones - Here he is calling for a ambulance for when Matt collapses. Now there's a mate.

The competitions going well.

And Sprog is going to be the winner by the looks of it.

Pha you win some you lose some. Off to the Barfly then?

Its a bit of a walk. Some of the others manage to get a taxi to the bar fly while Matt, Nack , Deadmanjones and Norfy walk it. Nearly at the sanctury we get a message 'the Barfly' was empty so were off to Snobbs.

Infact we manage to get a taxi too but with Matt not doing so well we head down the Birmingham New Road past Mr Kings and onto Wilkinsons Wolverhampton. Where Matt takes a leak in his own neighbourhood.

Its time for a snack and a hot choclate in the Vicerory.

Matt enjoys his starter.

Eat it up Matt. You won't grow if you don't eat it all.

Its a tough job for someone..

I think he's nodded off - perhaps its time to go to bed.

And then it was time to get up go home and ere go to bed until 3pm!

Not long now and Matt will be in the Varsity starting the binge drinking celebration of his 30th birthday. I'll be joining him should he actually make it to the Chocdera in Brum by 5:30pm!

It's then off to the Barfly behind the Sanctury for some boogiing!

Took around 2 hour to get there, but it was worth it. A two hour session was booked and before we started we nipped into Ellis Bringham's next door. I saw a pair of K2 Cinch, a comprismise design between the flow and the normal strap bindings. I looked round and asked if there was a chance of a demo pair. Low and behold they nipped off my bindings, took my credit card off me and gave me back my board with some 2K Cinch's on to try for 2 hours.

So at the top of the him and those dam bloomin drag lifts and it was time to give them a quick adjustment and test run.

The lovely slippery soft snow (unlike the Tamworth Snowdomes ice pack) was great to glide down and fall down on. In fact the first run down and I fell over giving me an ice back!

Apart from the fact it wasn't over busy the wide run here allows some fancy turns to be done at high speed. I would wish it was a longer run but theres no way I could cope with such a long drag lift.

Back on my bump with some doubts about these bindings. They are obvously not as good as the flows - probably down to the design not patent copying the flow. Perhaps because the stance isn't set up quite how my flows were. Or perhaps just because my legs were tired from being pulled up that bloomin drag lift. The drag lift was definetly the big problem factor.

My boarding was top notch on the way dwon even with tired out legs. So I went back after the two hours and bought them.

Got home via the Manky Way in time to head over to Marg and Martins for a do to Celebrate Martins 34th Birthday crikes! And of course there was the burn - which Matt didn't do well unlike normal. Once he'd given up I went up the garage round the corner and got 10Kgs of carcoal....

Now eventually that helped. And didn't it keep us warm until 2am while all around us turned a sharpe white.

Big-L even fell asleep but I doubt he remembers or will admit it!

Sunday morning and at 10:30am I get a call from Big-L telling me he's coming round the footie match is on after all - boollooooocks is all I could say to him. After all I was nice and warm in bed and tired.

They did well as it happens 3-2 to the Rainbow. But the game wasn't over a moment to soon with these cold feet. I even had my snowboarding socks on but they didn't help.

Nozza did very well if only he could have got a lot more of those balls in the goal.

Where as Trubbie seems to have found his perfect ballay partener! We headed down the Rainbow after for a pint or two and some Chips and 'hide the sausage'.

Once home it was time to get out my new bindings and....

Drewell.....

What I was ment to say was put them on my board! Which I did and then adjusted and fine tuned them to fit by boots.

This left me with my Flows which I have cleaned up and have now put on ebay. Fingers crossed as I could do with some of the cash to pay for these new ones!

So make a bid even if you don't want them! Just push that price up!

As winter sets in some might think its no longer open top weather. But in fact with the sky so clear, the wind so still there isn't a better time to get the roof down in minus degress conditions we are getting in the morining, during the day or even at night. You just need to make sure that before you take the roof down the material is warmed up either by leaving the heater on for a short time or tipping some warm (not hot) water over it - THEN ENJOY!.

Being as the canteen food has become noticably poorer during the couple of weeks the chef has been on holiday, Thursday I dinner time I nipped to the Aqurius fish and chip bar. I had a yummy chcik n' mushroom pie and chips. Luckily I went swimming that night to burn some of those calories off!

Just before I went swimming a quick preview of 'The Worst Week Of My Life' was shown. I didn't recongise the title but I did the comic series.

The first series which I saw way back (I have since been told its been showed twice this year) was excellent and this hit my humour spot right on target.

I set the video to watch it when I came back in later.

I stayed in last night to purposly bore myself to death. All in the aid of putting the beer money towrds a session at Xscape in Castleford.

The more I think about it the more I wanna be there. I now have a plastic 3D map of the Les Arcs area. Boy I hope this holiday is going ot be great.

And with my Oakley hoodie now dying a death from crap qualtiy, and wandering around some boarding shops I now have a new one - with a sip front for ease of access.

Saturday was a great day for some open top driving. One of the items bought while out was a big bag of charcoal (10KG) for a massive four pounds! Shocking or what - I didn't know weather I should have bought all their stock of it! Oddly it was at the one place I thought would have charcoal so although a bit out of my way it didn't really matter at that price. After that I headed into Wolvo for a muich around. Waterstones had the rough guide to Italy and this years Ski and Snowboarding resorts guide book. Nether of which I actually bought! I did however buy my christmas present from boots. With my old camera dead I had my eyes open and Boots were offering this for half the RRP price. Even on the web they're not this cheap. Anyway its been put away till Christmas by which time I might have forgotten what I'm having!

Saturday night and its a party Haloween ;/ firswork night - with BBQ hance the charcoal from earlier!

We even have lite pumkins to admire in the cold crisp dark night!

There was only one warm spot, which luckily was next to the BBQ and beer supply!

Grteat pumkins eh!

The firworks weren't bad either and the rockets surpriseingly good!

What I would like to say is that I'm glad I eat beefburgers and not chicken burgers. The chicken burgers seem to burn better and longer than the charcoal! worrying very I'd say - and these are Birdseye chicken burgers not you cheapo ones!

When the party dided down we headed over to the cow pie factory - for a pint. Now its been a while since I've had a whole cow pie and if you do go for one remember to be very very hungrey. Personnaly the next time I go I want the mixed grill served on a shovel.

There's a few other items on the menu too - yummy.....

From here we head to the famous Crooked House for a final beer. But all this leaning makes me feel so so sleepy.

Sunday and we ge6t a lie in before Footie it being Rememberance Sunday. KIick off isn't until 11.02 am but we are still late - becasue I'm just whackoed from lack of sleep. Must have been something in those burgers.

It was a game full of action and even some scuffle which ended with the ref in total control - Not. Unfortunatley the Rainbow didn't win again.

The rest of Sunday was filled with playing two new online compatable games yipppppeeeee.

Yep I'm a busy person now!!!
