Well we get up early in the morning and the weather in Calais is very British. The customs man is not happy about the state of my passport, which is something they did to it themselves when I flew home from Italy once. He recommends a new one, erm will it last another 3 years I'm thinking.

We board the ferry - and think of breakfast.

We sail on P&O's finest Pride of Canterbury. Smart clean and quiet empty.

We watch from our seats for the first sighting of Britain.

The Cav makes it back to Brum, 3 people, 3 snowboards, 1 set of skis, 3 big bags, 3 small bags and the bag with the electronic stuff in it. Can't see how I'm going to manage this in the future with my Eunos. Its nice to be back in a way I guess - you can taste that pollution.
