Well you see this thing with Japaneese writting on - its from my Eunos. I've replaced it with a new one.

With any luck the sealing rings are tired. Anyway spashed a drop of antifreeze in it too ready for that cool spot in the weather thats soon going to be here. Hence I went for Antifreeze that will go down to -60! Erm gobal warming does odd things, be ready, be prepared.

I watched this film with Kate Winslet in it, which I had never heard of, but was a really good and enjoyable film so I thought I'd let you know. It was called The Life of David Gale. Also has Kevin Spacey in it ;)

Well my brother has got a another pc and so offered me his whacky graphics card. So I accepted and so it was out with the old...

And in with the new ATI Radeon 9800 card. Whats this? It needs a power supply lead as well?

Well a bit if jiggery pokery and I managed to rearrange things enough inside. Now if I only had something good to play in 3D like Doom 3.

Well I guess some of may well know but for those who don't Radiohead have had a new album available via their web site only for a while (click the picture above) . Even better if you download the album YOU decide how much you are going to pay them for it. But to be honest I'd rather BUY a CD copy of it. Downloading music is well crap really. I want the art work. I want to hold it in my hand. I want to feel the worth. You can't with just a few one's and naughts.

Well I just thought I'd let you know today I have reached 100 feedbacks on ebay. Now thats took a long long time to reach. Perhaps I should buy more!

Well I got my bank statement last night and give it a quick check. Yep there was the cheque for the Xmas break cashed. And nope I hadn't gone into the red like I'd expected. But where was the £165 quid I took my brother up to the bank and paid in cash at the end of last month?? Eh its not there. Then I noticed a deposit of £65. That can't be right?!? Well luckily I had kept the transaction receipt.

Not so luckily it also said £65! NOOOOOOOOO. Well I went the bank which I had paid the cash into and explained. Notibly even though I had no proof of paying in such a sum they listened, sat me down and disapeared. After 5 minutes or so later she popped out along with with the branch manager and agreed there had been a balance error on there accounts at the end of the day I had put the so called £65 and were willing to give me the cash. Yipppeee thankgod - cuz I'm sure like me £100 spondounes is a lot to loose. So next time I give cash and count it out to the cashier I'm going to check those reciepts in future because you never know.

Sunday and Beardy called me to go and watch the Footie.

It was wet and cold.

And they lost. Remind me not to get up in time in future, Later went round Norfs to be told that Pris are now a signed band to the Post Office. We had a cup of tea and chatted for a while.

Saturday night and after a bit of shopping in Waitrose I went round Martins to celebrate his birthday in jenga style.

Which ment most of us went home in a worse for wear kind of state.

This year I got dressed in my snowboarding kit, but to my surprise the jenga was played in doors...

The horrible spirits came out and so the concentratin went up. Who was going to have to suffer......

Probably my head in the morning!

Exciting live action.

The night went on....

Saturday and I went to Stockport to collect my latest ebay buy. And the roofbars came Saturday morning too, which helped no end. Yep my dad is well pleased with me fiting this to his car!

The snowboard and ski's fit in just right. Just got to wait until March now until we use it. I wonder how long it will take my dad to get this off his car?

Well yesterday the weather got noteably cold. Which was a good thing because it was cold in France and it snowed heavily again.

But this morning is was deathly cold. Look at the cold depths my Eunos has ended in.....

Certainly wouldn't be trying to take the roof down in this state.

And a quick arty photo of the Eunos badge.

Amongst other films I watched recently was Holiday. Others consisted of The Pursuit of Happyness, The Last King of Scotland, Secret Window, Hostel Part 2, From Hell, Benny & Joon and the crap Oceans 13. Man I've done some film time.

Well you know how couriers usualy leave you a card if your not in and they've tried to deliver. Well DHL did just that with a phone number to call. Mind there was no need it would appear as they called back round at 7:30pm! Anyway in the box was a barebones Digitak TV recorder from Maplins. Well the good thing about this little unit is you can put in your own hard drive. So if you have got an old spare hard drive from your pc you can now recycle it rather than dumping it!

Well my phone bill came and this month I have gone over my inclusive minutes! Shriek and so my bill has topped the tenner mark. Sheiks. I even rang France twice which normally stings.

I thought we'd take a look at the mobiles I have gone through over the years. Well this was the first one a Panasonic brick thing. Mind it was state of the art digital back then.

Next was the ever popular Nokia 5100 series. The best thing with these was when those flashing aerials came out. Yep I had one two with some kind of laser fitted to the top - now that cut the battery down a bit.

Things suddenly shrank and the next phone was the very impressive Erricson T28. Small light and functional. My favourite phone to date but was that because it had Tetris built in?

In someways the T39 was better than the T28, it was faster - but hey where is tetris. This tennis game is bollocks. Now have blue tooth as well. I still have this phone.

Bigger and battery lasted a hell of a lot longer than the erricson. I'm not sure this was an 'upgrade' but just a new phone with many many gimmicks and that wonder full all functioning wheel. Oh where the aerial gone?

Well next came colour screen with the Sony Erricson T68. Oh life just got so good.

Another Sony Erricson, the menu gets better, the screen better, more tunes, more games, more battery life, a little bit small and to add an extra punch a 1meg pixel camera. Charming. This wore well as well.

Well we end where I am at the moment the D750i. Phose have moved on slightly from here but I'm not upgrading yet. now we get 2 mega pixel camera, get colour screen, JAVA Internet, tunes, movies, flash, torch, etc. We can even put huge memory cards in! One disappointing thing is the body of this phone wears out fast. The rubbing in the pocket takes the colour out of the keys and body making it look tatty really quickly. You can get replacements but they get tatty too quickly. Well what will my next phone be? The ipod one? No I guess it will be the Sony Ericson one with 5 mega pixel camera.

Well it has started to get cold and is snowing in France although in Morzine it has only had a dusting so far. Anyway clicking the picutre above has cameras for most major resorts!

Well why we are on the subject of snow here is Deux 2 Alpes mountain pistes. The overall map area, click on the above for more.

The lower slopes of the resort.

The mountain the opposite side of the resort. To be honest until you look at google earth it doesn't look that big an area but then...

Les Deux Alpes looking towards La Grave.

The overhead view of the main mountain.

The view of the mountain from the south.

A view of the town from the north.

A view from the west

A view of La Grave from the East.

A view of Le Graves glacier.

Tuesday night I headed upto Bilston and The Robin 2 Club to see Pris and a couple of other bands play as it was a WM live recoding session special.

The lads were infact on stage before I got there. I could hear them through the walls.

Mind it wasn't particularly crowded in there. There was no rush to get at the bar. In fact the service at the bar was quite the opposite of the Varsity - which is so nice.

For a change I even managed to get a good picture or two of John on the drums.

Well here are Pris playing Lunar Polar.

And also Stay With Me.

Unfortunatly the next two bands just didn't do it for me what so ever. It was a dissapointment. I sure lead singer Greg thought should get a staff with a foil skull at the end of it just like this to guy to play with during Norf's ambitious and most exellent guitar rifts.
