Well my Eunos loses water every now and again and with nothing better to do I get it up on the ramps for the first time ever.
Well that pink ting on the bottom of the crankcase sump is collant but where is it coming from?
Well it appears the water pump is leaking (occassionaly when the engine is very cold on icey morning). This involves removing the timing belt, which in one way isn't a bad thing because I keep meaning to replace it. I get onto the mx5parts.co.uk web site and order the required items for the large 60K service complete with belts and water pump. Well that was a quick goodby to 120 quid. Now we have just got to wait until the weathers a bit warmer until I do it.
