Around Wolvo

Saturday night and we went out for a curry at Jivan’s as usual. Usual great service, food and beer. It was really busy so we decided to move onto a pub. Now Fatboy had said that the Stage Door had been done up and so I talked us into going there. No doubt it had been done out at some point with a lick of white paint and removal of any character it might have had. One good thing though was the music that was playing there. It was great. But not great enough to have us stick around.

And so we moved onto the Great Western. I’m not sure why we came here but we did and I was totally surprised how popular it was. It was full. I guess the best thing was drinking as much Batham’s as possible, not to please ourselves but to please Alan

There was no doubt that come the end of the night we had enjoyed the night, had a good time and wasn’t going to enjoy the next day. God help Fatboy as he was catching a coach at 7am in the morning to go to Aberystwyth.
