Not many people know that grapes grow well in Wolverhampton because of its very sunny climate. Today was not one of those days.
We popped into the restaurant at Half Penny Green and I had a ginger beer with chilli, Not only did it have bit but it left a lovely warm tingling feeling to the tongue.
Where we were sat we could see all the food coming out of the kitchen area, so we ordered, extra healthy local deep fried brie.
Followed by the winemakers lunch.
Made with fresh local bits and bobs.
It was delicious. After that we brought some local wine.
