Chips & Icecream

There aren't many films that I find sentimental, but this one struck a cord. Heart warming, cruel, brutal, damming, life goes on even if we don’t and our love is defiant even if we don’t always show it.

Its called A Song For Marion, not inspiration in its title and not one that would make you grab it.

Gemma Arterton provides an exception performance which creates the setting and tunes in all the other actors performances throughout the story, in a manner that I’m sure no one else could have portrayed or pulled off in such a film.

There is nothing lavish about this film other than the story and the social compatibility of those characters within. A film I ‘m glad I took the time to watch.
