I left the car at home and left to go to Four Ashes for a pint and to see if there were any interesting cars that might have turned up considering it had been cancelled.
It was a lovely evening for a walk to the pub anyway.
And here we are and wyes in the field are some cars.
What's this one?
And onto the next
This should give it away
Have you worked it out yet?
Well its another Cadillac
A dream barge
A lovely example of a Plymouth
We can even peek in the engine bay.
Nice, nice, nice
Next we have a???
Beetle so low can it be driven?
Apparently its not even on airbag suspension.
Well the speed humps must be a bit awkward.
Nice colour though
A luxury coach, but don’t they all say that?
Your should know what this is..
And this a bet you think is a Rover 100. Of course not its a mini metro.
A classy brand
Yeah a Triumph Dolomite, with a the small steering wheel.
This ones easy.
OKay perhaps not
And the next car was my favourite of the show
and one I got talking to the owner about
A real stunner of a machine
and the one I wanted to take home myself.
Wow wow wow.
And he’d restored it.
ah a joy to see.
a bit like this classy motor
not so mini
But a great looking Rover 75 the MG version.
Darkens was drawing in though
And it was time for the few cars here to leave
So people packed up
and headed off.
Not so many cars here but still worth a trip up.
Bye bye Lotus
Bye Bye Triumph
Wave to the police who have joined in.
So as the sun sets I finish my beer and
Still got to do my tea and its 10:30pm.
