I get up this morning and put my posh frock on for a meeting. For today I’m off to south Wales. Can it be any drier there?
It doesn’t look like it. On the M6 we are stationary, which made me think thankgod for the train.
Sometime much later in a Morrison's cafe we are enjoying a healthy breakfast and a cup of tea. The sales person I was with couldn’t believe it when I said that Morrison's cafes were the best and I bet the tea was a pound a pot. He checked the receipt and I was right!
After the meeting we come out and it has somewhat brightened up enough to make us want to go the beach and have fish and chips.
A few hours latter I’m back at home. I drove the last bit and can you believe it, I drove right past my house. I got out of the car got my things and the sales person jumped in the drivers seat. As I walked to my house the neighbours waved at me. I considered what I was going to do this afternoon considering that I had got home earlier than normal. I decided to go for a swim, But could I find those passes for the Nuttfield centre in Cannock. Nope I couldn’t.
Instead I sit back and watch Dr Who on the iplayer. It is the Orient express episode which as it happens
turns out to be pants, apart from the ending.
I wasn’t even sure I’d like Dr Who anymore. And whilst the new Dr Who didn’t take my immediate liking, he is nearly as good as Tom Baker! and the ending was written so well it could have been written by myself.
For a moment there I thought that it was time to say…..
goodbye to a great companion
a sad moment
but the truth of it
is more powerful than one can imagine
But it takes two to believe.
to make a difference
the test of faith,
For one knows best,
But like my head, if you could really see what was going on in there, you wouldn’t want to have looked in the first place.
