I get up ealry as my dad is meant to be dropping my mom off early so that we can go out for the day. As it happens it is very nice outside. However knowing that they never turn up on time, I take the oppurtnity to repair my screen on the phone. I get the hairdrier out.
Boot up the laptop and re-read the instructions. The first one seems very important but we will move on.
How hard can it be.
I get the repaire kit out
And I’m ready to begin – following the instructions.
I heat up the screen until its so hot you can’t touch it.
And slide the blade between the glass and the LCD. Ooooohhh
A short while later it is fucked! Aw Bum. The LCD screen cracked as well. It was going so well.
consider my options and go and find the old Nexus 5 which I believed the motherbooard socket joints were failing.
A while later the mother board is swapped and I press the on button. Ohhh look at that .
I charge it up
And conisder it might be worth getting a spare so
onto ebay, and whilst they start cheap, within minutes of the sales ending they go for £130 - £180.
I take a look if in future it is possible to replace the LCD unit.
I would say not though. If you can’t get the glass off easily you can’t change the screen.
And whilst I thugh the chasis was meant to be made of aluminium, it not and hence the side cracks. The outer body is plastic moulded into and aluminum chasis plate behing the screem. But he out edge is just plastic.
Nobodyies turned up yet so I cook some sauages and sit in the warming sun outside.
After enjoying breakfast I get out the spade.
Which is hard work when this is what your soil is made up from.
And create rounder smotther more feminie flower beds.
Which creates more piles of soil.
I put my new plants in and then the parents appear.
Things are a bit icey at first, One I’m covered in soil, and as its sunny I want to change what we are going to do. Eventually though we head out in the sun with my mom in her buggey. I take her through the park and
into the town center, where the street market is also in full swing, compete with band.
We look in the shops
and eventually it is dinner time. I try to think of somewhere we can eat with the buggy.
Then it comes to mind that I havn’t been here since Alan and Zoe came to see me when I’d first moved in.
One thing I remember liking about here is
the milk shakes! Hands off mom its mine!
Once settle in
we order and
I’ve finished it!
I order a tea as the milkshakes are dearer than beer!
It comes with a cute milk churn.
My haddock and chips comes, although they seem to have forgotten the plate!
And my mom tucks into her Cod.
I love it.
She loves it.
Okay so its just a glorified chip shop, but it is nice, the staff are nice and well its nice.
With full bellies we head to my house and
the garden while it is still sunny.
I work out where to start using that soil and add more curves and burry the concrete plinth.
It is looking nicer now.
I’m happy, my garden helps make me happy, I like playing in my garden.
Its now got a new diemsion with the curves, but need to enusre it inst to hard to mow.
I move the bench to the top of the garden.
Time to do some D.I.Y. and put the hoots on the doors of the bedrooms.
Take a look at the shirt I got
and also the two T-Shirts
all for 7 quid.
And for the rest of the night, I still have a full belly. I sit int he retro room, get comfy and
watch the Duchess. Yeah I’ve seen it before, but you knwo what, I’d forgotten the story!
