This morning I needed to get out of bed, yep today is the first day back on the train, so no slouching this morning.
I have breakfast and look through the various papers on my table whilst munching. Erm I really ought to go to the spring one as the maain one always lands on Zoe’s birthday.
I leave the house. It is wet out there. How glum.
It must have rained heavily here.
I take the short route, which is past the golden arches.
I get to the station and get a ticket to Walsall at the mahine. Then ponder why everyone is standing around the sign. Ho no all the trains are delayed. As in delayed and no times. Aparently no trains have come all morning. Then I see everyone move. oohh look at that a train is coming and coming now!
I get my book out that I started all those weeks back and really didn’t get into, and reopen the cover.
And then I thought it might be a good idea to check if train two was runing to time. It was running slightly late.
I get to Walsall and head up to the ticket office and
buy a new ticket for the month.
I hang around and look at that the train will now be 8:45am just like the ticket office man said.
Will it come though?
I look at the This Space Could Be Yours. Is it trying to hint II could be homeless?
Oh my there it is.
The chu chu has arrived.
I get on and ponder if it will actually leave.
I actually pondered incorrectly. The train did leave and then they made the announcement that the train would not be stopping at Perry Bar, Witton, Aston or Duddlestone. But be going to Birmingham New Street! Eh I could have been there 30 odd minutes ago on the train I was on originaly.
So here is the problem that is causing chaos in the Midlands train system once more. Apprently last week was as bad!
So I get some kind of plan on how to get to work from New Street!
But you know what, there was an announcment on the train, “Hi folks, you won’t believe this but the earlier announcment is getting changed and we will now be taking the correct route and stopping at all stations on route”
So yeah I got off the train at Aston and didn’t have to work out where in Birmingham I needed to find a bus stop.
And so I make my way to work.
Past Holborn Waste 2015 Ltd, which if you notice closely is established 2015!
So I’m only slightly late at work.
I thank the face behind the screen for repling to my tweet though. And the day flies by.
On the way home though things are wet, very wet.
The train comes on time though.
Although some feel as depressed about the weather as me.
I swap at Thame Bridge Parkway and wait in the wet.
It will soon be here.
I walk the wet walk home, passing through the center of town.
erm I wonder what they sell?
See that the new butchers isn’t open yet.
Once home I make a cup of tea and put a huge crumpt in the toaster.
And with the dampness still in my hair I watch Big Clive on You Tube take apart a USB charger. He has taken many apart and slagged off their dangerous design. Here though on this occassion he tells the world that for a change this one is good. But then it should be. Its an Ikea one.
I sit and relax and do well nothing, I just relax and watch the world go by for a while.
It definetly wet out there.
For tea I make beans one toaste. So yummy with cut it yourself bread.
And while I eat tea in the retro room I put on aDanny Dyer film.
Yeah, The Basement,
Is this a budget film Danny?
Yes it is. And I bet you’d like to know how it ends, wouldn’t you?
Well it ends really well. Trust me. The end doesn’t come quick enough.
