Today I cook breakfast in the frying pan. It’s been a while since I did this. After breakfast
I check out where I got to. Green Peacock paint is an arse when you get it on the floor. It also shows the plaster issues up a lot. So a redo of that patch there on the chimmney breast.
Problems under the window sill.
I clean up the floor.
That will be for the dyson to suck up at a later time.
And with that I start the tidy up.
While it may not look like it.
Another fill up skim over the problem area. Will I be able to hide it?
And here too.
Thats it for tonight 90% done.
The poor thing.
And so I show it some love. She’ll never have been cleaner.
And with that I retreat to the back garden.
I get my mower out, and make the garden look smart.
Get a cup of tea and relax.
Eventually the family come round.
I get some beer out.
and I get the BBQ lit.
Everyone is excited.
I cook the sauages slowly, and nicely.
And the same with the burgers.
Eventually they are ready.
We start munching.
It’s a nice way to end a hard working Bank Holiday.
The BBQ slowly dies down and everyone goes home.
I love my garden.
Do you remember when it used to look like this?
How much has been done in such a short time.
Where will we be next? What will happen next? What does the future hold next?
I end the night with Top Gear and Chris Even and Mat Le Blanc.
There was so much oppurtunity here to do something different. Sometimes though things take a while to gel.
Maybe they need a 3rd person. Maybe they need me?
And as for the Reliant adventure. Well…….. It helps if they both worked and hadn’t gone up the motorway
