I’m up, I’m the only person up. In fact only me is up. Which is odd, as we are meant to be going out at 10am. As it happens I’m not the only person up. But the other person isn’t in this house. We have a chat and then I got and look
at the bacon I had put in the oven. If they are not getting up it going to be mighty well done! I hear movement in my one ear. Or so I think.
So I get the eggs on too.
As it happens I take breakfast up to Alan and Zoe who is already getting up. Alan is not. But then he is not coming out with us. I eat this nice food and then
do what I don’t like doing.
Packing my stuff up to go home. Although right at this moment I’m not going home.
The cowboy hat goes on.
And we go into the pastures.
For Me Zoe and Matt have come to the games Expo. Hell this year they want £18 each to go in!
Yes I feel the same about it too.
Now we all know Zoe likes to do something that I can make a good Youtube video out of. Well this is it. Last year it was horse riding . This year it is jumping on the spot. When she finishes and sees me filming she had such a smile on her face, although in truth I think she wanted to slap me.
I found this great game, it is on the PS1 and has this controller. I’d never heard of it, but then the game was Japanese with English subtitles.
Yeah a train simulator, although from the title of it you’d have never guessed.
Densha de Go 2. So right at that moment in the expo I had no idea of the title. Now though I know it is a cult classic game/sim that has a huge following in Japan. And this isn’t the only version of it. Nope the Japanese are that mad for it there are loads of them.
I have a look around the board games.
And then me and Matt come across Outrun. My favourite.
And they even have Power Drift, which Matt had never seen!
Zoe was excited about it too.
But really she was desperate to go on Afterburner. We eagerly awaited for it to be fixed.
And once so she was straight in there.
So much excitement to be had from these classic games.
Yeah we loved them.
But outrun is still my favourite.
There was still plenty of retro games to play
And we had a go on the pin ball machines
Before mooching around once more. Yep very foxy.
And here we have the Tomb Raider Family.
And yes even the dad has dressed up!?!
Really we should dress up to, although I’m getting some looks about my cowboy hat!
I visit a stand which has many spectrum games out and also a new one for Android. We get talking and I say that the game reminds me of Uridium. Ah they say well we did program Uridium back in the 80’s. I was known as Hewson Games back then. Ah now all these other games make sense. Then he give me a card. A book book based on our history he says if I’m really that interested. I bet it makes a good read.
At some point though I have to break the news
That is time to leave, time to get me and my bag to the station.
So this is it then.
This is farwell, hopefully I’ll be back. I seem to have coped okay. In fact apart from the Friday night it has been relaxing, just what I needed, a change from the norm, that isn’t that wonderful right now.
I enjoy the chu chu ride home. Watching the sun set in the distance.
Yeah, at least I’ve got my ticket for the way back.
Off I get
And I wait for a ride home.
I settle down, and get ready to do my washing
I check how much money I have left and then
decide to watch Starwars that has come through the post.
Hello Han Solo.
