This is Life

IMG_20161001_102107

I get up and make a bacon sandwich. A nice one, not just bacon, but some lettuce, tomatoes and such. I ponder what I’m going to do with my morning.

IMG_20161001_102331

Outside it is wet.

PANO_20161001_102356

I have a wander around the garden anyway.

PANO_20161001_102425

slowly getting wet feet as the damp soaks into the trainers.

IMG_20161001_102515

I check the ever growing natstourshions. They have gone mad.

IMG_20161001_102536

Are the any plants left under them?

IMG_20161001_102557

Where has the apple tree gone?

IMG_20161001_102607

Even the garden next to the garage is doing well.

IMG_20161001_102630

I open up the composter, which at one point was full. But now it seems

IMG_20161001_102634

Like an endless pit. Where have all those slugs gone to?

IMG_20161001_102650

The nastourshions have also started taking over the drive.

IMG_20161001_102659

And with that I get some bags, put my coat on and head into town by foot.

IMG_20161001_110926

I go to spec savers, only they can’t see me this weekend, so I book an early Friday appointment. As I wander around I notice

IMG_20161001_121331

they sell Babycham! Wow what a throw back!

IMG_20161001_120325

I go in and out of some shops, the bank , Wilcos, and the Greengrocer. I also visit the flower shop which has some bamboo plants for £2 each, which is cheap, really cheap. I head into Jessica’s cafe, which is on the opposite side of the Jessica’s the grocers, and a bit hidden away. I have a cup of tea and a piece of New York Cheese Cake.

IMG_20161001_120146

If I’d seen these though before the cheese cake I would have had these.

IMG_20161001_120721

As it happens the cheese cake was devine.

IMG_20161001_115513

So my thoughts whilst sitting here. Shoe Zone pay £1000 in rent a month.

Screenshot_20160930-194625

Now that is a lot of shoes to sell to pay the rent before all the other things. Do we really buy so very many?

IMG_20161001_120728

Next to the cafe is Cannock’s Aldins cave. Don’t go in here if you do not want to spend money. It used to be spread over several market stalls inside.

IMG_20161001_121652

And behind this café at the back of the market is another secret market that is only open on a Saturday that no one goes to because it is that secret.

IMG_20161001_122133

Yep it was delicious.

IMG_20161001_122735

And yes I did enter the Aldins cave.

IMG_20161001_123426

The Who, either on DVD or vinyl! It was though time to get the bus home.

IMG_20161001_124129

After all it was raining and the bags were heavy.

IMG_20161001_124348

I’ve come to love this bus. One day I will do the whole ring.

IMG_20161001_124807

Perhaps it is because the bus drops me off at the end of my drive though.

IMG_20161001_125336

I get home and take the shopping out of the bags.

IMG_20161001_125329

We are all egged up again.

IMG_20161001_125412

And we have entertainment for tonight.

IMG_20161001_130236

We also have bamboo. All I need now is a panda if this stuff grows this time. I take the washing out of the machine and get ready for my mom to be dropped off. She is late, again.

IMG_20161001_151012

We get to the baths for 2pm and

IMG_20161001_151106

Go swimming!

IMG_20161001_154524

After swimming she wants to have a cup of tea and suggest we go into town so I can get some more bamboo plants as well. And so we end up at Jessics again.

IMG_20161001_154529

I try Firecracker Lobster crisps. But hey they are not wonderful and also the scotch eggs have all gone, yes all of them!

IMG_20161001_162236

Back at home I’ve ended up with a rain forest.

IMG_20161001_162343

And with that I rest for the rest of the afternoon.

IMG_20161001_162507

I put on the PS4 and play Fallout 4. It’s been a while, where did I get to.

IMG_20161001_185854

I send off my meter readings as its the end of the month. I’ve used 220 units of electricity and 26 units of gas.

IMG_20161001_215822

And so I sit in the retro room, turn on the Dolby surround amp, turn it up and shut the door. I watch the Born Ultimatum I got for 95p earlier in the day.
