I get up after everyone else. By the time I’m downstairs Darren is around. We have breakfaast and then I try using google to get to the nearest station. Google wants me to go to Kilmaurs, Darren wants me to go to Kilmarnock. In fact Darren comes with me to Kilmaurs. We walk, we get the bus and then we walk through the town to the station where he gets me a ticket.
its a return ticket. With this cold you’d have me back?
The train leaves and we chu chu away
I enjoy the countryside views and completely understand why they came to live up here.
We near Glasgow.
And while here there are a couple of things I need to do, have a Burger King whopper normal, go to a card shop and also pop into CEX where I get Farcry 4 for £8 and Starwars lego II for £3
I consider heading into the pub Times Square for old times sake. But then I don’t really feel well enough for a pint.
So I go to the station, have a hot chocolate and do what I sometimes like doing. I write.
From here I can watch the train times. Its might cold here in Glasgow.
Its time for the chu chu and so
I find my regular post box here, if you can have a regular post box somewhere!
I find my reserved seat, which as always is the only one with name unknown by it.
Its time to relax while I
watch the cold scenery go by.
At least this time I can see the scenery.
Some people relax
I munch, that is until Preston where
I leave the Independence Day Virgin Express
I’ve never been to Preston town before.
And to be frank, I never leave the station.
I wait patently for the train to come. And when it does there is someone sitting in my reserved seat. I shift them. Why do the do it?
Eventually I arrive home, snot dribbling from my nose, I’m ready for bed already and I’ve done nothing!
