The Rosie Effect

DSC_2189

What amazing adventure in reading shall I start today. Well Its not book three of the five book trilogy. Instead I enjoyed the Rosie Project so much I got the sequel.

DSC_2190

On the train I open the front cover of the Rosie Effect.

DSC_2192

What isn’t Rosie is the weather. Although it make a nice picture of a wonderful Rainbow over Jerds favourite Asda.

DSC_2213

And as it happens I went to Morrison's, and got me some fuchsia's for a pound each. Hopefully that will make the garden colourful later in the year.

DSC_2199

I settle down to play some Drakes quest.

DSC_2195

It gets odder and weirder.

DSC_2202

And the adventure gets more beautiful.

DSC_2204

Where will the story go?

DSC_2206

Where will the story end.

DSC_2207

Are the possibilities endless?

Six By Nine

DSC_2151

Yeah I know how to start the day, well there are plenty of strawberries and

DSC_2152

plenty of cream.

DSC_2153

While I’m devouring this tender breakfast I amuse myself by reading my council tax bill for this year and how they are going to invest the money I give them.

DSC_2157

It’s not long before I’m on the train. Which is a good thing and isn’t. Its a good thing as I’m about to reach the last page of the book. And before I do I find out the answer to life, everything and the universe is in fact 6 multiplied by 9.

DSC_2160

And the bad thing is that I do get to the end of the book.

DSC_2159

What an amazing journey. This is where it ends.

DSC_2161

But in fact I understand that this is where it actually just begins.

2017-03-29_08-01-45

For the UK, Europe, the World and the Universe, we are duly bound to start an new adventure. An adventure outside of the E.U. but remember we will still be part of Europe. Some adventures can just become too big, too wide, to short sighted. DSC_2173

Amongst the world of the life in the garden this acer is once more struggling to grow. But trying it is once more.

DSC_2174

And where there is a struggle to live, plants are thriving. Enjoying the race for life.

DSC_2176

In the front I decide it is time to try and grow something colourful. I create a boarder under the privet.

DSC_2263

The herb garden is an abundance of life once more.

DSC_2342

I sign the book. I get it, It ends where it starts. How Improbable was that? And then put it away for ever more.

DSC_2177

As it happens today the post man has been. Here I have a new tee shirt depicting Depeche mode.

DSC_2179

And even better a spanner set.

DSC_2182

ooo yeah, now I’m looking forward to mending my car.

DSC_2184

Take a look at the size of that!

IMG_20170331_180623

And also we have some retro gaming through the door.

DSC_2187

It might be on the Megadrive but its not Mega anymore. Especially without a save option!

Giving Her Some Love

DSC_2092

I wake up in the front room, the sun is peaking through the black out curtains, just peaking enough to wake me up.

DSC_2094

I look at the Sony Dream Machine. It obviously didn’t want to change hour automatically and just stopped. I know how it feels.

DSC_2096

I look outside the back bedroom at that nice lawn and blue sky.

DSC_2097

I head down stairs to cook some breakfast, and decide to make some fresh lemon and lime juice. I put them in the blender whole. This may have been a mistake. It blended at first and then stopped. Well not stopped, it carried on but no blending was happening. This was in fact the end of the blender. I took the jug out of the machine to find the Aldi blender had let me down. The plastic cog on the underside had broken so that there was no spinning action in the jug. I was lucky I guess. At least I got my juice. I watered it down like I like it and well enjoyed it in the garden.

DSC_2099

Me and the Buddha enjoying the peace, the tranquillity.

DSC_2100

The wall of daffodils, dancing gently in the cooling breeze.

DSC_2101

My construction has stayed up.

DSC_2102

I like my bit of tranquillity.

DSC_2103

I take a closer look and have a wander around.

DSC_2104

I have a couple of tulips.

DSC_2105

There’s going to be loads more by the looks of it.

DSC_2106

Lush yellowness.

DSC_2107

I vacuum the house, its so dusty recently. And then,

DSC_2112

give the MX5 some love too.

DSC_2109

There was loads of Tenby sand in there, which when you think about it, makes sense. It was the last time I properly used it really. I give it a dam good clean on the inside.

DSC_2120

And then head over to Stuart and Phil's, going the long, long way with the roof down.

DSC_2118

Yeah I brought with my ice cream, strawberries and cream.

DSC_2116

Their house is always a palace. It makes me so jealous. I love my characterful old house, but as a new build, and decorated, wow. We watch the F1.

DSC_2119

And we enjoy naughtiness.

DSC_2115

Eventually though it is time to leave,

DSC_2126

And head around my parents.

DSC_2124

I have a look at the Skoda.

DSC_2122

The new alternator pulley is on. Now to wait for the new belts and power steering pump to come.

DSC_2128

Yay my brother turns up.

DSC_2130

I give my mom her present and card.

DSC_2131

All we need to do now is wait for the sky to go dark. I put up her other new fairy lights.

DSC_2133

Eventually it does go dark, and it lights up nicely.

DSC_2137

Back at home I have a surprise for the Buddha, a new spot light!

DSC_2135

And so the Buddha gets some love too.

2017-03-27_07-38-44

I head upstairs, change the bed sheets.

DSC_2138

And with that I go to bed.
