Giving Her Some Love

DSC_2092

I wake up in the front room, the sun is peaking through the black out curtains, just peaking enough to wake me up.

DSC_2094

I look at the Sony Dream Machine. It obviously didn’t want to change hour automatically and just stopped. I know how it feels.

DSC_2096

I look outside the back bedroom at that nice lawn and blue sky.

DSC_2097

I head down stairs to cook some breakfast, and decide to make some fresh lemon and lime juice. I put them in the blender whole. This may have been a mistake. It blended at first and then stopped. Well not stopped, it carried on but no blending was happening. This was in fact the end of the blender. I took the jug out of the machine to find the Aldi blender had let me down. The plastic cog on the underside had broken so that there was no spinning action in the jug. I was lucky I guess. At least I got my juice. I watered it down like I like it and well enjoyed it in the garden.

DSC_2099

Me and the Buddha enjoying the peace, the tranquillity.

DSC_2100

The wall of daffodils, dancing gently in the cooling breeze.

DSC_2101

My construction has stayed up.

DSC_2102

I like my bit of tranquillity.

DSC_2103

I take a closer look and have a wander around.

DSC_2104

I have a couple of tulips.

DSC_2105

There’s going to be loads more by the looks of it.

DSC_2106

Lush yellowness.

DSC_2107

I vacuum the house, its so dusty recently. And then,

DSC_2112

give the MX5 some love too.

DSC_2109

There was loads of Tenby sand in there, which when you think about it, makes sense. It was the last time I properly used it really. I give it a dam good clean on the inside.

DSC_2120

And then head over to Stuart and Phil's, going the long, long way with the roof down.

DSC_2118

Yeah I brought with my ice cream, strawberries and cream.

DSC_2116

Their house is always a palace. It makes me so jealous. I love my characterful old house, but as a new build, and decorated, wow. We watch the F1.

DSC_2119

And we enjoy naughtiness.

DSC_2115

Eventually though it is time to leave,

DSC_2126

And head around my parents.

DSC_2124

I have a look at the Skoda.

DSC_2122

The new alternator pulley is on. Now to wait for the new belts and power steering pump to come.

DSC_2128

Yay my brother turns up.

DSC_2130

I give my mom her present and card.

DSC_2131

All we need to do now is wait for the sky to go dark. I put up her other new fairy lights.

DSC_2133

Eventually it does go dark, and it lights up nicely.

DSC_2137

Back at home I have a surprise for the Buddha, a new spot light!

DSC_2135

And so the Buddha gets some love too.

2017-03-27_07-38-44

I head upstairs, change the bed sheets.

DSC_2138

And with that I go to bed.

Happi

DSC_2034

I wake up early. It looks lovely outside.

DSC_2036

I've got a couple of rashers of bacon and a couple of buns, and so put the frying pan out and cook up a lovely smell. I look at the table in the garden and decide to that's where I’ll be having breakfast. I relax in the sunshine, before heading to the ear clinic with my mom and dad in tow.

DSC_2045

At the ear clinic both doctors remember me, and ask separately in a personal manner how I’m doing. I tell them the main ear doctor that he was right that I can’t hear with the hearing aid, but the sound it provides to my ear is helpful to my head. I feel balanced with it and if I take it out I instantly notice the void of nothingness and want to put it straight back in, its helping with life, sometimes I have to turn it off in certain situations when it makes things worse not better. However the head balance is a big bonus, The chatter goes on to the ear infection I had and apparently even though I don’t realise it still have, when they suck my ear out and have a look. So I need to see the GP again. All is well apart from that. I head back into town with my parents. We do some shopping and then

DSC_2041

I treat them to dinner. It was nice to relax with them.

DSC_2044

We re-joined the real world and did some more shopping,

DSC_2046

I even take the opportunity to go to Wilkos for the last time for me as this is the last Saturday it is open.

IMG_20170325_155854

Back at home I get busy.

DSC_2050

I put all the trellises up. Hopefully this will all be green in the summer. I plant some QVC plants which should climb and be ever green, and some other clematises, and some lilies.

DSC_2056

I mow my lawn, I mow the next door neighbours.

DSC_2057

And then we have a nice long chat togeather in the warmth of the sunshine.

DSC_2055

And as it get slightly chilly, I decide to light a log, and get a beer and admire my handy work.

DSC_2058

It slowly goes dark, but it is warm, it is very warm, I found the old front room blind I put aside for an occasion like this. Man did it burn, Did it burn well.

DSC_2061

The embers stayed warm though.

DSC_2068

The lamps Les got me for my birthday last year have to to life.

DSC_2070

And look good once more. Well all but two.

DSC_2065

As the fire died down, I smelled myself.

DSC_2075

I smelt of smoke. I ran the bath, and too my beer with me.

DSC_2076

Ooooh so nice on the toes.

DSC_2084

And that pillow I got for the bath is so nice to put my head on. So very nice.

DSC_2089

I made me a ham sandwich with corn bread and headed to the retro room.

DSC_2087

The night ended with an adventure.
