Another One Bites The Dust

DSC_0172

Friday at five, I get changed and head out of the door. Most have already left for the pub. Me and my mate though are not going to that pub.

We get the not so rushed train into the city center.

And then the walk to my favourite Shakespeare, where I get a pint of Purity. WE head into the crisp night air of the beer garden and relax and natter to each other in the peace.

We should do this more often, not just on someone's leaving day.

While my office mate heads home, I head towards Broad street to find the others.

I take the side alley past the library and

here we are in the rather unexpectedly quiet Walkabout.

A couple of pints here and then we head to Jimmy Spices, my first time here. They do a “range” buffet to suit everyone's tastes. Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italian and British. 2 hours latter our table time is up.

And so we head into town and the Bachus Bar for the last drink. Well for me.

I run off to get the 10:15pm train back home. I pick up a return ticket for £2.50 just in case once I get to Cannock I change my mind and want to come back.

It is nice and quiet unlike the last train home.

If anything it was hard to keep my eyes open again!
