Continues

DSC_5224

I get up, its wet, I have a sausage sandwich and get ready to go out.

DSC_5236

Today we are going to see this car, more local and with the CR type engine.

IMG_20181104_154637

It also has a quiet unique feature these days.

DSC_5237

A sunroof.

IMG_20181104_154624

As it happens, when we get there the car is sold.

IMG_20181104_154510

Which is a shame as I would have brought this one.

DSC_5200

And with that I take the euro box shopping, first a visit to Aldi and then to Tesco.

DSC_5204

Where I get some essentials and

DSC_5206

several new carrier bags to add to the collection.

DSC_5211

I load the additionals into the car.

DSC_5213

Can you believe this car has no boot light!

DSC_5222

In with the new and out with the old, we have a new wok to burn my meals in now.

DSC_5229

I got outside and worryingly, while the weather is wet the level is low. I turn on the hose and start to fill it up.

DSC_5230

I can see Frank and Betty, but where is Jessica?

DSC_5235

Upstairs the cat is in her bed next to the warming radiator.

DSC_5233

DSC_5241

As dusk falls Les turns up.

DSC_5243

I convince him we should walk it and take the route through the park.

DSC_5248

About twenty minutes later we can see it in the distance.

DSC_5251

We head down the path

DSC_5252

up the hill

DSC_5260

towards the warmth.

DSC_5264

It is as hot as Spain here. I even have to take my jacket off.

DSC_5275

And there is a fun fair too.

DSC_5288

Excited like a kid we head for our first ride.

DSC_5284

This is going to be so much f

DSC_5286

And it is totally wicked.

DSC_5290

Next is Hysteria

DSC_5305

Which we follow up with the Waltzers.

DSC_5311

Smile, spin, smile, spin

DSC_5317

So much fun,

DSC_5319

It’s out of this world.

DSC_5322

So we have been tossed, we have been turned, and we have been spun, what is next Les?

DSC_5327

oh yay.

DSC_5334

Living life in the fast lane.

DSC_5333

And as we fly round

DSC_5337

the fireworks start, hold on they have started early.

DSC_5342

We watch for a while,

DSC_5352

and then hit the hot chocolate store.

DSC_5357

Yes like a kid I want a flake and cream in mine.

DSC_5360

Apparently though there is a second longer showing of fireworks, so we go and get a prime standing spot.

DSC_5363

And then they start.

DSC_5371

and they are wicked.

DSC_5395

colourfull

DSC_5397

noisy

DSC_5414

splendid

DSC_5421

DSC_5397

and sparkly.

DSC_5441

yes I’m gazing into the sky.

DSC_5454

fascinated like

DSC_5481

everyone around me.

DSC_5490

and it ends in a epic array of splendour.

DSC_5497

And with that we huddle around the fire for some time.

DSC_5500

Eventually though it is time to head home.

DSC_5502

We do however go via

DSC_5505

a classy pub.

DSC_5506

we have a pint and

DSC_5508

then think about food. So we go across the road and get some chips.

DSC_5510

We walk home, the town so peaceful.
