Well been back from Scandinavia for a couple of hours now. Nearly five hundred photos taken not that they are all any good mind. My own bed will be great tonight. It would seem Deadmanjones has been keeping things up to date here.

mileage before trip 164839

We shunn the M25 as usual for the straight route through the heat of London

Dunkirk at the very cheap F1 hotel

Copenhagen - Denmark

Gothenburg - Sweden

Holmenkollen Olympic Ski jump Oslo - Norway

Stockholm - Sweden

Next to a big lake in the middle of Sweden

Mileage at end of trip 168021

3182 miles covered. 5 Ferries used (We used a bridge on the way to Sweden from Denmark hence the odd number). 1 very long car search at Dunkirk by the French which we gather ended in dis-belief at finding, cookies in the biscuit tin Les bought for his mom. And after opening every souvenir, a plate which Les had bought that had Oslo written on it, confirming where I had told them we had been.

Back to work tomorrow back to reality

Stockholm a dull place with not much to do. It also rained for a short time. As it was we were on a boat trip at the time. Forgot to check out the ice sculpture museum dam. Off to lurbeck now.

Oslo and I'm wandering around a park full of naked women. Mind there are just as many men. They are of the marble type. I now have a blister on my left foot.

Nothing really important, just telling you about our progress. Les has gone to get a couple of lottery tickets and erm, ain't really sure where we are. South London somewhere. We were stuck at some temporary traffic lights and, erm. Well, I said to les there's a garage over there so you can go and walk it, and soon as he did get out and walk it lo and behold for some reason the traffic just flowed by passing him by. So he pulled up at the garage and made him do a bit of exercise. 'Bout it really. Talk to you again soon. Tara.

We have reached the first big city of our holiday. Lots of traffic here in central london. We shun the m25.

Neu Camp on the stag do and a memeriable moment..

We are surprised that they serve beer to your seats in the stadium.

4 cans of beer in and a comment from Jay. I've had several cans of this stuff and I swear I'm getting more sobber. Gov can I see one of the cans this stuff's out of.

(laughter from the locals behind us)
Jo the librarian said hello. But as the email was in the junk folder before I read it it vanished from before my eyes. It is now 11pm and I really should pack my bag. It would appear my manager keeps forgetting I'm on holiday next week. Now do I need to take my fleece or will it be warm?

Since stag do having problems sleeping. Focus in eyes has become blurred and not returned and although I feel tired I cannot sleep. I think I have alcohol deprevation now. However having been swimming tonight without making a scene in the swimming pool I actually am very tired and may well sleep. unfortunately due to extreme alcohol intake on the stage do there weren't many photos taken but here are two.

Me and Matt handling our beer successfully at mid afternoon

Trubby looking the worse for wear and Jet sluuurrring at us mid afternoon.

Regretably ralley europe has been cancelled. I called Big-L to let him know and got him to agree ten days around Scandanivia would be just the ticket instead. Here's the plan...

Mad but true.

Anyway tommorrow a whole bunch of lads are jetting of to not so sunny at the moment Barcelona for Paul beason and nippers stag do's oh hell.
After the Rainbow we headed up town to the varsity, and from there we went to the Dilshad where Matt Poade consumed ten chillis!

Which Jet found most entertaining,,,,,,

The next day I did 2sets of exercise. First I got on my bike and then later Matt and myself went snowboarding at the snowdome. Only Matt wanted me to say can we do it next week instead. I when I called him wanted him to say can we do it next week instead. The truff was Sunday had mashed us.

Well with little sleep and too much to drink Big-L came round to collect me for relegation battle of the Rainbow V Cassual Old Boys, witht he match taking place at the Wolverhampton Cassuals ground.
Lovely and sunny would they manage to secure enough goals past the opposition to win and stay in the league? Probably the most tense game of the season...

Ryan can't beleive his look when another Rainbow player actual passes to his feet!

Jet coming in for the kisk of a life time

Its a goal for Rainbow

Foul comin ref its foul sureley?

Trubby 'Where the ball gone?!?!'

Action man Dan saves the day and reboots the ball

Can Neil keep hold of the ball?

Who's kicking what?

Steve Beason there again

Ryan suffers from shirt grabbing but does not surrender

Dan in a panic as the Rainbow defence starts to crumble

If only the ball could be kept lower it would have been a goal

Rainbow outclassing the opposition again

Steve Beason doing one of his dances again.

Neil going for the dive

Steve BEason giving it the boot

Goal for the Rainbow

Trubby giving it the high boot

Some all star action

Neil Allen striking yet again, what a performance

Neil Allen giving it the boot

The walls to far left lads which reults in a goal for the opposition booh

Jake taps the ball

Should I step back a bit?

Gav doesn't want to be left out and also gives it the boot

Neil Allen in control while Sprog smartly walks down the pitch behnd him

Jet 'I can't look at him he's just to ugly'

Celebrations with minutes to go

Time wasting

Rainbow win, showing there biggest audience yet what they can really do.

Bill Poades comment 'I knew they could do it but why why did they have to make such hard work of it?'

Later we went to the Rainbow to Celebrate................
