Yippppeeee its Christmas time!

Time to write some cards.

Time to wrap some presents.

Time to go and get Les from his home.

A very festive touch around the telly Les.

He gobbles up his tea as quick as he can so we can start the Traditional Christmas Eve Coven Pub Crawl.

We see a few folks we know at the four Ashes..

For a change we are last to change pub, but knowing that this year there would only be two venues there seemed little rush to move on.

And so the pints flowed in the Ashes for a while.

We move onto the Harrows at last where the party is really happening!

More beer flows and I think I've just seen Santa passby outside. Gaz and Les don't believe me though.

Somebody heads towards the land of nod.

Maybe too much beer is flowing

Hands up baby hands up.

"I'll have another - whens this place closing?" - "1:30am I hear Les!"

Here is some comedy!

Well I taxed the car before I disapear abroad on Boxing Day. Wouldn't want to be stopped on the return home because the tax wasn't in date!

Well I settled down and watched the Posideon Adventure 2006. What can you say - why oh why make a remake and yet make it oh so utterly worse than the original! Yep even with todays technology they stick cocked it up but mainly because the story was totaly messed up, parts missing and no introductions to who was who. Well I hope the director got the sack after that.

Well we've been having a foggy spell, which hasn't happened for so long its quiet nice.

What of course isn't nice is the fact some people don't realise you don't have to drive with your fog lights on in the lightest fog.

Especialy when your driving in bumper to bumper traffic! What arses.

And I thought they'd decided not to bother with another seriers... Well here it is series 12 Modnay night channel 4 at 10PM

er yeah I'm a fan...

Thought it may be wise to give the car a quick check over as there a long journey coming up.

Which was bad news in a way cause now I know I need some new tyres!!!!!!! Wouldn't like to hit a puddle at 100mph with these on!

I make a note of the tyre size and head for the web!

Looks Like Hi-Q in chapel Ash have a 20% off voucher via the web site. That'll help no end.

The oil leak from the rocker cover looks a lot less worse. Still leaking but a lot lot less.

The brake fluid seems fine.

Brake discs look ok

Inner brake pads ok

Outer brake pads ok.

Lots of grease on the one wheel coming from CV joint - but it is just excess grease the boot is fine - thank god.

Hand brake is adjusted.

Rear drivers side suspension looks ok.

Rear passenger side suspension looks ok.

Engine seems fine, wind screen wipers need adjusting,

Exhaust system looks fine.

Well I have not washed it or polished it for at least a month so here goes...

Much better - much redder.

And while I was at it I thought I'd clean the Eunos too!

Well Friday night I went to the Gym and then went around the Greenies. I was exhuasted which is more than can be said about Tom. We played for a bit before Nack finaly made it to the sofa with a cup of Tea. We settled down to watch 'Over the Hedge'. And so did Tom. He kept saying I'm not tired even though his eyes kept nearly shutting. Evenutaly it was time for Nack to go to bed and so did Tom after a story of 'Scary Things'.

Yep Saturday came and I was ment to leave the house early - the only reason why I didn't go to the Coven FC Xmas do. Well I ended up around my brothers before we went to Stafford shopping. Most of the time was spent in Tesco's of course - bewildered by the 32inch LCD TV for only £499.00. Some odd brand of course but with Tesco's guarantee does that matter. Away I managed to convenice myself that CRT still give a better picture so I didn't get one!

What I did get is some Tesco premium car screen wash. Hopefully more effective than halfords on thsoe COLD trips to the Alpes if you know what I mean.

I walked past the flowers...

I don't know if you have ever seen this stuff but if your lazy like me and can't be arsed to wash the cats food bowl then buy this stuff. Rip the foil lid off and feed the cat. No washing just throw the container away after. It's like a microwave meal but for cats - and I can't see the harm in slamming it in the microwave for a minute or two anyway!

While there was no big horrible ques inside Tesco, getting off the car park was another thing!

One almost fell asleep. Well I settled into a day without the gym and wenthome and ate two packets of Dorios - special offer two for one!
