We leave stopping at the post box for one last time

before driving to the bottom of the mountain and thinking my brakes don’t half smell at the bottom.

We hit the autoroute and make good time across to Belly and beyond.

At the aeroplane before we get on the motorway we stop at the carfour petrol station and fill back up to the top. We head off and stop at the next services for dinner. What a mistake to make, the whole of France is there. Luckily a disabled space becomes available and we are in the right place at the right time.

Many many hours later we stop for tea near Saint Omare

And get the usual chicken and poulet for me and ham for almost every one else.

And good chicken it is too.

We sit back and relax for a while we seem to have made really good time.

My dad decides on a pudding too.

Ah Fraiser at last.

We climb back in the car and take it easy to Calais in an attempt to make it back without having to fill up and we are almost dry. Once in Calais I stop at the carfour and fill up ready for the morning.

And so over to the Ibis for the night

and a god rest

Always a nice view at this place.

We have a drink and relax with the wifi

and get ready for bed.
