There are so many things to do, but I am tired, like I have been all week so decide not to move from my comfy bed. Time has moved on though and I really should get up.
When I do the house gets a really good vacuuming. Wow where has all this dust come from as I empty the vac bin.
The sun is shining so I go outside and admire the garden once more.
Man when winter comes I’ll be so sad.
I wander round like a lost limpet.
They bring me joy still
They bring me wonderment.
Its such a joy to see.
Heaven is here in my garden.
I’m not joking.
so here I will stay.
An joy to behold.
just a wonderful as the other day.
Although looking around some serious weeding needs doing.
You get the picture?
And perhaps some more nastourion control.
However it is not just me that enjoys the flowers.
There are butterflies dancing in the air too.
If only I could dance with them.
It is obvious why they like it here.
The flowers sing out to them.
Just like me.
A sensuality that is hard to explain.
But it is here all around.
Come and feel it for yourself.
And perhaps you will enjoy too.
Well I need to do my food shopping and so I get ready to wlak on down into town.
However as I opent he door the heavens open and well I’m not steeping out in that. And reach for the car keys. Sometime later I am back and the weather is a tab better.
I get a Gateau to eat with Matt.
And some cherries from the grocers
Erm I like cherries.
And from the Indepandent game store I send a fortune.
I also get a Hostel pack from one of the charit shops. Now I know I had the first one, but not the second one. At first they appear to be different.
But it would appear to be the cover only. the film is 168 minutes on both of them. then the door bell rings.
Its Matt, and you know what, he is up for playing Fifa14 on the PS2.
I explain why I have Fifa on the PS2 and then he shows me how good it is. I go off the game.
We head out for tea and decide to be adventurous. Matt isn’t looking forward to using the bus, but hey it stops right outside the house and I’ve never been north on it. We are going to Hednesford. I ask the driver if it is better to get a day ticket or buy the tickets. He looks it up and suggest to single tickets will work out 20p cheaper each way. Personally I was expecting the £4:60 day ticket to work out better.
A short walk through the center of Hednesford and here we are at the Spice of Hednesford.
It is busy, in room 1, we head for room 2 and a quiet spot.
Matt has recovered from the bus journey and I have a Mongoose, something I’ve never had before, and it is very nice. It is extra premium nice.
Out come the bits and bobs.
Followed by the starters. Some egg thing for Matt.
If you’r into egg things.
And chilli paneer for me.
then the mains, Matt has gone for a sweet curry.
It has bannanas in it!
an this is no balti dish, but it is different and I like different.
the nans are yummy.
My curry is yummy.
And we tuck in until we can eat no more.
I look at the bus timetable and we have time for a pint, so we go to The Hen House. A pub I have not been to for some twenty years. A pub with a great reputation. howver just like the pub in Cannock I used to go to all those years back, this is nothing like it was. In fact if you remember the pub from back then, don’t go, you will only bee dissapointed.
It’s not the only thing that is going to dissapoint. The bus stop may have a digital bus sign. It may tell you the bus is coming. It may tell you when.
But it doesn’t tell you it is lying. I would say its a fakey system and not live. No bus came, no Arriva bus came.
Another bus did come some 30 minutes latter. A bus that went to the center of Cannock but not via my house. Still I guess we got home, only a bit late and Matt had to go to West Park straight away.
I conisidered the possiblilites, slipped the disc in the drive and watched the Hostel. Is this really how it ended?
