A washing machine was not the only thing I won on ebay. And as we drive home the skies are telling us something.
Something is brewing, something is stirring.
Should we be cautious, or should we be expectant.
I look around for the sheep.
The ice cream vans.
It is so beautiful. If I close my eyes I can see, I can see….
A shed load of cars stationary.
And us going nowhere. Neither fast, nor slow, just not going anywhere.
As it happens the FAT thing I won on ebay was to be collected from just round the corner from my friends house.
I was cheeky, he said yes and after a hell of a lot of traffic I appeared. He handed me a bag.
Oh wow its so big I exclaimed. I forgot just how big it was, as I stare at it. I look around the back, but there ports for a genuine good composite picture are not there. On this none cheap extreme sized TV, the ports are not there.
A while later I have the pristine FAT PS2 connected up.
We put in Crash Karts and play.
The concentration is overpowering.
Tough, silly, fun.
And then we move on. On to something I’d never tried. Guitar Hero.
We plugged them in. We posed.
We laughed, how can it be so dam hard.
Some of us were better than others. But in the end
Life rocks with Stuart.
The rock stars eventually put the guitars down, and I’m kicked out….But that's rock and roll for you.
