If Your Ready Then I Shall Begin

DSC_9710

The weather outside looks good. It looks good and is good. Good if you like the sun and a bit of a chill. Its a chilli though that is very chilly, the type that makes your fingers cold. This stops me. This stops me wanting to do all the things I want to do. No I am mistaken.

DSC_9709

With a cardi on I make my breakfast and sit in that fresh chilly air, and the postman has been. So as I eat my breakfast I lust for a read, a rrad that wasn’t on the agenda.

DSC_9712

Now if you are sitting comfortably let me begin.

DSC_9714

Once upon a time there was a troll, who sat at the banks of a vast lake.

DSC_9715

Here though next to the lake the dwarf cherry blossom tree looks happy, where the polygana was happy until it got endlessly wet.

DSC_9716

Maybe I’ll even get a blossom or two.

DSC_9720

Even the Prius is starting to grow at last, after all these years, although its leafs are white not red. Perhaps that will happen later.

DSC_9717

Mean while, in the dew, things are looking mighty pretty.

DSC_9724

dam gorgeous

DSC_9745

and very extravagant.

DSC_9727

Even some tulips are coming up. In fact everything seams to be coming up.

DSC_9728

All I need now are five hundred chilli plants to grow.

DSC_9731

I marvel.

DSC_9740

I adore.

DSC_9722

I smile a wonder smile.

DSC_9743

Even the pear tree has decided it will grow.

DSC_9744

It will blossom.

DSC_9747

Yeah this plant is truly nice.

DSC_9718

And this year I have so many of these.

DSC_9739

The stick by the door doesn’t look alive, but then, neither do the other three.

DSC_9728

I wander from border to border.

DSC_9738

Amazed at their grace.

DSC_9736

The sharpness of their delight.

DSC_9750

And around the front, now watered the plants look happier too.

DSC_9751

You can see their sparkle of life.

DSC_9752

Their tranquillity of delight.

DSC_9748

It is though at least time to get one thing done that has come to mind.

DSC_9753

And I head to the plant stall in Rugeley we saw last week. I get some plant, I know that will make her happy.

DSC_9757

Round the parents the plan to change the thermostat on the old girl did not go to plan. Well the plan was to change it, a simple job, well that was until German engineering got in the way. You have got to be kidding me. Seriously. Instead I turn my expertise to a different job.

DSC_9756

One that does not need doing, one that isn’t a job at all, one that I just thought you know what, why not.

DSC_9759

And by dusk all 4 are done. Sad but true.

DSC_9762

Back at home, I return to what I am addicted too. Slashing and adventuring….
