Filled Up

DSC_0360

I get up, and have the morning wash. Wow, this is the lightest I’ve been for ages and then eat a big breakfast.

DSC_0361

outside, the ground is levelled.

DSC_0362

I try to work out where the bricks will end.

DSC_0363

Erm I ponder.

DSC_0364

It is firm, and so I lay the sand down.

DSC_0365

and grab the padder once more.

DSC_0366

Yep that looks good.

DSC_0367

Seams to be level enough.

DSC_0368

All we need now is a dad to pav.

DSC_0369

He’ll be well please with this.

DSC_0370

And now

DSC_0371

I need to dig a trench for the edge pavers.

DSC_0372

And so I start to dig,

DSC_0378

And then add some MOT in

DSC_0379

While my dad does the pavers and starts to catch up.

DSC_0380

He is doing a grand job

DSC_0377

Mean while I go inside and mix some plaster I have stashed I the garage.

DSC_0382

Someone takes 6 slabs away from freecycle

DSC_0387

and we don’t finish by the end of the day.

DSC_0388

It’s looking good though

DSC_0389

The thing is,

DSC_0390

tomorrow I have a mom day.

DSC_0391

Will my dad come and finish it off?

DSC_0393

I do so hope so.

DSC_0396

but we never know.

DSC_0394

I can see its going to look just the way I wanted it though.

DSC_0397

And so I climb into my car and head off

DSC_0398

for Sunday tea.

DSC_0399

Sometime later I’m back at home, I put the bins out and relax with a beer once more in the garden. the temperature is just right!
